Pakistan whitewash Sri Lanka in Blind T20 series

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan whitewashed Sri Lanka on Tuesday in the Interloop Twenty20 Blind Cricket series played in the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Pakistan had previously conquered Sri Lanka in two T20s.

Then Rowan Wasantha played Suman Kumara and a captain’s hit supported the team to be taken by him from the early losses. After scoring 42 runs each, they both got out.

170 runs were made by Sri Lanka in the allotted 20 overs for the loss in seven wickets.

Israr Hassan took two wickets.

Pakistan in reply, chased 171 runs in 13 overs for the loss of three wickets.

While Muhammad Asif made 28 runs Fasseh Ullah was the star for Pakistan, scoring 52 runs.

Suranga Sampath and Lakmal took one wicket each.

Faseeh Ullah of Pakistan was declared man-of-the-match.

CEO Interloop, Mussadaq Zulqarnain, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
He along with Syed Sultan Shah, President, World Blind Cricket Ltd, distributed prizes among the teams.

Guy-of-the-series contained Deshapriya in B3 group, Badar Munir in B2 and Muhammad Ayyaz in B1 type.
