Perhaps you have believed public swimming pool or your backyard was simply too darned little? Perhaps it”d be nice to have something a little larger? Does half a mile long pool seem? What about a deep end thats 135 feet? Yeah, thats what I believed. The San Alfonso del Mar is an exclusive resort in Algarrobo, Chile that boasts the worlds biggest swimming pool. Not a tourist attraction that is terrible. The pool is 0.6 miles long covering 20 acres in total. At any time that is given it holds approximately 66,000,000 gallons of filtered seawater from the Ocean that is Pacific .!
The pool opened in December 2006.
It now holds the Guinness World Record for largest pool on earth by region.
That water. Wow that is only.
The pool cost an estimated $1.5 to $2 billion to construct.
The water filtration system alone cost about $3.5 million.
I would like to join in, although Im not sure whats going on here.
