1) She Was Voted ‘Most Talkative” in 7th Grade

Though she wasn’t allowed to pursue acting until she completed high school, Jennifer was voted most talkative in 7th grade, a trait she’s carried on with her all throughout adulthood.

This helped her immensely later on in the career, cementing her further as the teen idol. That strong female lead that was missing for almost 20 years is finally here!

Her honest statements, casual demeanor and very good relationship with the fans are all consequences of eloquence.

2) She Used to Be a High School Cheerleader

Looks like J-Law is no stranger to the spotlight. As a high school cheerleader, she partook in flips and smiles; as an actress, she’s winning Oscars.

Her father Gary Lawrence, who once owned a concrete construction firm, Lawrence & Associates, didn’t get that son to carry on the family business, but who needs business when you have a Hollywood star as your daughter.

5) Her First Gig Was a Promo for My Super Sweet 16

She may be winning Oscars now, but it wasn’t until her first gig playing a brat on an MTV My Super Sweet 16 promo that the star gained some recognition.

Actually her whole career started when she was quite young, at the age of fourteen.

She convinced her parents to take her to New York City to find a talent agent. It all has to start somewhere, and this was the beginning for young Jennifer.

6) She Auditioned For Many Lead Parts
